We believe that ‘every child can achieve’.

Are you a highly motivated, inspirational and exceptional leader, with strong organisational and management skills eager to join our much loved school?
This is an exciting opportunity to motivate and lead our passionate and hardworking team; together you will work to create a common and shared vision of excellence for the school.
Our primary school was last judged ‘Good’ in 2014 and the pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development was described as ‘excellent’. Our goal is to regain Outstanding status. We are consistently oversubscribed; we are an ambitious, rural school with a supporting and caring environment for children and staff alike.
We are looking for a new Headteacher to throw themselves into our community with enthusiasm to lead and develop the school’s curriculum in a dynamic and creative way that motivates and challenges children and staff to excel and gives the children plenty of opportunities to explore sport, music, art and drama.
If you are looking to work creatively to raise pupil achievement and attainment in a positive and friendly environment then this is the job for you. Most importantly, our children are friendly, welcoming and enjoy coming to school
Visits to the school are welcome by arrangement with the School Secretary, Mandy Fox.
Luddenham School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and Disqualification BY Association statement will be required for the successful candidate.
