We are seeking an inspirational Head Teacher for our 420 pupil school in Wye, near Canterbury and Ashford in Kent.

We are proud of our school. Our latest OFSTED report in February 2015 rated us as outstanding with children that have “a passion for learning” and “great pride in their achievements” and who are “exceptionally well prepared for their move to secondary school”….. a school which is “an example to others”. 

Lady J is one of the few primary Teaching Schools in the country and a key partner of the Ashford Teaching Alliance. It is highly regarded and supported by the local and wider community.

We know we have more to do as the environment around us becomes tougher; we need to strengthen our governance arrangements, develop succession plans and seek new opportunities for growth. 

Fortunately, we have a team of talented teachers and support staff so we are looking for an exemplary Head Teacher who: 

• is entrepreneurial and will build on solid foundations of excellence;
• can inspire and empower our high-quality staff;
• has emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills;
• can build lasting relationships with parents, pupils and staff alike;
• most importantly of all, is passionate about developing our children to become successful young adults.

This position would suit either an experienced Head Teacher or an ambitious and experienced Deputy Head Teacher looking for their first headship post.
