New Road is a one and a half form entry Primary School of 300 pupils in 12 classes plus a Nursery Unit with up to 60 children. When the current Head retires in Summer 2015 we want a dynamic and passionate new Head who will work with the existing strong leadership team and supportive staff to build on the sound progress made in the last few years. Our children are keen to learn and our School is well-resourced. The combination of a dedicated team of teaching and support staff and the potential of both the pupils and the site mean that this role gives a real opportunity for significant achievement. 

The School draws its pupils from a very diverse, stable and supportive community and we want a Head who will engage with our community and will help all the children to feel included and supported. We also want a Head who is committed to working in partnership with others to both impart and instil best practice.
