PTA Information

The school is supported by an active and enthusiastic PTA who organise and run a number of events throughout the academic year to raise additional funds.   We hold both a Christmas and a summer fair, run a hugely popular Easter egg bingo event and ensure that every child gets the opportunity to meet and talk with Father Christmas. 

In the summer term we host a cream tea afternoon to which parents of pupils starting in the following academic year are invited, giving these children an opportunity to meet their future classmates.  We run discos, serve teas at school events and are on hand to help the school wherever possible.  

Over the years money raised by the PTA has funded the development of the computer suite, helped with the development of outdoor learning facilities, subsidised the cost of events such as Science week and  Book week and paid for sports kit, as well as providing many other benefits to the school.  One of the goals for the immediate future is to secure funding for a school minibus.
The PTA is actively supported by all the school staff, enhancing the valuable links between school, parents and the local community.
