Maidstone, the county town of Kent, is located 32 miles southeast of London. The River Medway flows through the town's heart, connecting it to Rochester and the Thames Estuary. Maidstone benefits from excellent transport links. Whether you prefer traveling by car, train, or bus, Maidstone’s venues are well-connected. By car, the M2 and M20 motorways provide easy access, connecting to the M25. Additionally, Maidstone has three mainline train stations in the town center: Maidstone East, Maidstone West, and Maidstone Barracks. These stations offer convenient rail connections within the UK.  
 
 
The town centre bustles with activity and offers a plethora of things to do, while the surrounding area consists mostly of smaller villages just a short distance from the picturesque Kentish countryside. Maidstone ranks in the top five shopping destinations in the South East and features a multiplex cinema. Shoppers can explore a wide range of stores from two main shopping centres, Fremlin Walk and The Mall, to independent boutiques in the Royal Star Arcade and Union Street.
