What makes Chilton Outstanding?

Chilton Primary School is located in the beautiful coastal town of Ramsgate in the district of Thanet.  Home to England’s only Royal Harbour, Ramsgate is an area of with a compelling history and a bright future.  Close to London, and to the Channel ports, with affordable house prices, the town is ideally placed for young families to enjoy seaside living whilst having access to high achieving schooling such as ours. 

At Chilton we passionately believe in “One Childhood, One Chance” and that every moment spent with the children at our school counts. From their first days in Reception, to their last days in Year Six, we focus on ensuring that every child can be everything that they can and that they want to be so that they are able to reach their full potential. We have created an environment which focuses upon well-being, happiness, collaboration, and success where each child and their future comes first. 

As a school committed to ensuring our children flourish and thrive, we actively promote our school values of Respect – Equality – Courage – Kindness as an essential part of our culture and ethos.
