Hever is a parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent. The village is located on the river Eden, a tributary of the Medway. Hever is most famous for its Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of King Henry VIII. There are many historical places of interest in the local area.

Hever has a railway station, which is on the Uckfield line to London Bridge. It is also close to Gatwick and Heathrow airports and just over an hour from the Eurotunnel. The M25 (junctions 5 or 6) is less than 10 miles away. The school has a dedicated staff car park.

The area is well served by an array of excellent secondary schools, these include outstanding comprehensives, faith and public schools and the local area also lies within the catchment for grammar schools in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

The nearby town of Edenbridge provides good shopping facilities, Sevenoaks and Oxted are also close by with a wider range of shopping and restaurants. The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is less than 30 minutes away. There are a wide variety of sporting activities in the local area including Hever golf club and spa, Edenbridge Leisure centre, Football and Rugby Clubs. Many of the children that attend Hever enjoy a range of extra curricular activities provided in the surrounding areas such as gymnastics, dance, horse riding, scouts, brownies and guides to name but a few!

Hever school is surrounded by nature and the school have made use of this with the forest school using wonderful woodland adjacent to the school site and the on site nature area.
