Our Mission:
Our mission is to provide a high quality, holistic, therapeutic, effective and meaningful educational experience for all of our pupils. The Llewellyn School aspires to promote a passion for learning, whilst celebrating the successes and achievements of our pupils. Our pupils have a range of SEND such are hearing and visual impairment, communication difficulties, physical disabilities and additional needs such as ASD and ADHD. Our curriculum is child-centred and designed to accommodate individual learning styles within a total communication environment, whilst providing the opportunities for each of our pupils to maximise learning to their full potential.

Our curriculum is pupil centred, supporting personal pathways that are meaningful, practical and supports long term life outcomes.

We were delighted to receive a rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted.
Ofsted Report:
'Pupils are proud of their school. Those who met with inspectors were polite, yet mildly mischievous at times, and confident to share their good humour. They told inspectors that there is much they like about the school. One parent said that their child did not really see the point of schools, but that he now comes to this one willingly. A group of older boys talked positively about the chances the school gives them to experience Taekwondo, horse riding and other sporting activities. Pupils shared that they feel safe and free from any form of bullying. They also reflected that, sometimes, some people do not apologise quickly enough when they need to. This is a small school. Leaders and staff know pupils and their families very well. Pupils like this aspect of their school. They respect staff because they feel well cared for. Inspectors found that leaders and staff have appropriately high expectations of what pupils can do and can achieve. As a result, pupils thrive here. They work hard, have fun, and are making good progress in all aspects of their personal, social and academic development.'
