Sunny Bank is a developing school and part of The Island Learning Trust since February 2020. We believe wholeheartedly in nurturing relationships to provide an inclusive provision and expect all " to be the best they can be".

As a member of staff here, there will be continuous opportunities to develop. Sunny Bank Primary School is a split site school, that provides a secure, nurturing and caring environment, in which children can feel successful, happy and able to achieve high standards. Our five values are at the HEART of our school:- honesty, effort, aspiration, respect and tolerance.

We are committed to providing high quality primary education, that prepares children to be successful, confident learners. We are an integral part of the local community, working in partnership with staff, governors, parents/carers and others to maintain our friendly, caring ethos. The school has a successful and welcoming nursery, offering a springboard into education for those of non statutory school age.

The happiness and well-being of the children is paramount to us, recognising that all are treated in a just and fair manner. We strive as a school to provide exciting, challenging and inclusive experiences for all our children, to become independent, aspirational individuals who have respect for themselves and others.
