Rainham Mark Grammar School provides an enriching co-educational experience where students are nurtured to develop their leadership skills and creativity. We are a school for every academically able young person regardless of social-economic background, ethnicity, or gender, with additional support and bursaries where they are needed. Our success is based on our high expectations. Our students and staff are motivated; they inspire and challenge each other to be the best version of themselves. Our school was judged “Good” by Ofsted in 2022 but we are firmly of the belief that we have the potential to be exceptional. There is much to achieve in an ever-changing education landscape.

Rainham Mark Education Trust is a family of three Academies in Medway, compromising of Rainham Mark Grammar School - Ofsted ‘Good’ May 2022, Riverside Primary School and Nursery - Ofsted ‘Good’ November 2019 and Twydall Primary School and Nursery - Ofsted ‘Good’ May 2023.

The core purpose of the Trust is to cultivate wisdom, character and strength in students so they can understand, celebrate and shape the world in which they live.

Together, our ambitions for the children in our local community continue to build on current success, and raise the bar further, such that the life chances of each child in our care are maximised through a deeply inclusive education, routinely high expectations, and a range of opportunities that seek to embed a love of learning.

Rainham Mark Education Trust (RMET) is in a very exciting stage of its development, having recently realigned and strengthened our central team, relaunched our vision and established an ambitious future strategy.
