Wittersham CEP School
We are a Church of England school, situated in the village of Wittersham, 4 miles from Tenterden, set in beautiful rural surroundings, backing onto farmland. The school has strong ties to the local community and St John's Church. Our lovely school buildings date from 1874 with the new, purpose built, classroom extension opened in December 2000. We have a roll of 140 children in five mixed-age classes.
At Wittersham we believe that every child must be nurtured, valued and empowered to have the highest aspirations for their future and to reach their full potential through the provision of stimulating, innovative and creative curriculum. We want our learning community to achieve high standards by equipping them with the skills to succeed and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
Wittersham CEP School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
