St Augustine's Catholic Primary School is a thriving school. We have happy, motivated children and supportive parents. Being a small one form entry school, in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, our children and staff grow and learn as one family working together. We are proud of our school and established learning community.
We are a Catholic School where the ethos is underpinned by the Gospel Values of developing the whole child through love, care and respect for others.
St Augustine’s has a rich and diverse community that aims to value each child for their unique gifts, skills and talents and where we appreciate that every child is different, special in the eyes of God no matter what their ethnicity, ability or background. We welcome staff from all faiths and backgrounds, who are happy to support our ethos.
St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School has strong links with our three feeder parishes, has enthusiastic and motivated children from a wide catchment area and diverse backgrounds, and a friendly and supportive staff who work hard as a strong team. The curriculum is creative and well resourced.
The school is close to the town centre of Tunbridge Wells, and set in large, pleasant grounds which include our reflection area and pond, sports field, Early Years garden and outdoor classroom. In September 2021, our school was graded as 'Good' by Ofsted.
The school is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership and is linked to, and collaborates closely with St Margaret Clitherow Primary School in Tonbridge, St Thomas' Primary School in Sevenoaks, with a shared Area Business Manager, Mrs Maria Sherring.
