Holy Trinity CEP School
Holy Trinity School serves a multi-cultural part of Gravesend and is situated within walking distance of the town centre. Our school is within 8 miles from the M25 and the Dartford River Crossing.
The School was founded in 1865 when it was attached to Holy Trinity Church and is popular, oversubscribed and modern. Over 24 different languages are spoken by our pupils.
Our exciting enriched curriculum offer provides pupils with an opportunity to participate in music, physical education, musical theatre and art. Our teachers are released from class on these days to plan, meet and develop their skills together.
Our pupils behaviour is exemplary and is reflected in their conduct around school in their varied pupil leadership roles.
Our aim is to create a community where our core values of respect, love and honesty are seamlessly woven into all aspects of our lives and the curriculum. We encourage with praise; we teach by example; and are proud to provide a safe and happy environment that nurtures every child. “The school’s values of respect, honesty and love are understood and upheld by pupils.”
Quotes from our September 2018 OFSTED GOOD Inspection:
• Teachers inspire pupils to learn
• There is a culture of aspiration and improvement across the school
• The curriculum is broad and balanced, and provides a wide range of opportunities for pupils to learn.
We are part of the Aletheia Anglican Academies Trust (AAAT) and we work collaboratively with our partner schools to provide a wide range of exciting learning opportunities for our children and staff. Working as part of the Trust gives us the benefit from shared professional development opportunities and the sharing of good practice amongst our schools.
