Goodnestone CEP School
Canterbury
School Description
Goodnestone is a small, friendly and popular Church of England Primary School set in a peaceful village surrounded by countryside, now Federated with Nonington Church of England Primary School in the next village, under the leadership of one Governing Body and one headteacher.
Our last Ofsted inspection judged us to be a good school with outstanding elements. As a small rural village primary school we work in partnership with our children, parents, staff, friends and community to ensure that our children receive the best possible education and nurture. As described by one of our children "We are one big happy family that supports each other in everything we do, and we are all recognised for our strengths".
All children are treated as individuals and therefore are challenged to achieve to the best of their ability. Children are usually taught in mixed age classes.
