Elham CEP School
Canterbury
School Description
Elham Church of England Primary School is a thriving, small village school set in an idyllic location with excellent road links. The children who attend our school are 4-11 years old.
Our school is firmly centred on our children. We are committed to ensuring every child develops a genuine love of learning while feeling happy, safe and nurtured. Our pupils are polite, enthusiastic and curious learners, and every child is truly known as an individual. Staff invest deeply in knowing the children well, with carefully planned teaching that meets a wide range of abilities.
As a Church of England school, our Christian faith underpins our values and ethos, with a strong emphasis on compassion, respect and inclusion. We warmly welcome families and staff of all backgrounds and beliefs.
We are proud of our rural setting and make excellent use of our outdoor spaces and village links to enrich learning. Alongside academic success, we champion sport, music and wider opportunities, believing passionately in nurturing the whole child.
We enjoy strong and valued relationships with St Mary’s Church, Elham village and our local families, creating a close-knit and supportive community.
