About us:

The Downs CEP School is located in Kent in the UK. We have wonderful children and a fantastic team of staff who all work together to try and make learning fun!

We are very lucky to have lots of fantastic facilities for our children, including a large field with some great playing equipment, a wonderful library which is jam-packed with books for everyone to enjoy.

Vision Statement:

The Downs CEP School has great aspirations and a strong Christian ethos. Our children learn to show respect for others and the world god created.

Our vision for The Downs CEP School is to put God and Family at the heart of all we do. As a nurturing community, we use the parable of The Mustard Seed “…if you have faith as small as a mustard seed…nothing will be impossible.” (Matthew: 17 v20). This guides the way we value and treat all members of our school community. Through our pastoral care and our rich curriculum experiences we provide a safe and dynamic learning environment in which all can flourish.

Our six Christian Values are at the heart of our vision. Every day we aspire to grow in Faith, Love, Compassion, Kindness, Respect and Forgiveness, so that our school family may experience the joy and hope of “life in all its fullness” (John: 10 v10).

DEALT

In April 2019, The Downs CEP School became a founding member of the Deal Education Learning Alliance Trust (DEALT) which is a MAT comprised of eight local primary schools within Deal and the surrounding villages. This unique and exciting collaboration of local schools work together to ensure the very best outcomes for all pupils and their families within our town.
