School Description
Anthony Roper is situated in the heart of the village of Eynsford. The school serves 315 girls and boys aged 4 to 11 from the villages of Eynsford, Farningham and neighbouring localities and is a popular choice among parents. The school is a one and a half form entry taking in 45 pupils each new academic year.
The Anthony Roper School has a long history and presence in the village, the current school site opened in 1973 as The Anthony Roper School having been created to replace the former Eynsford County Primary School established in 1905 and the Farningham Church of England Primary School established in 1873.
The Anthony Roper School is fortunate to have a range of excellent facilities; it is set in impressive grounds which afford the school a number of sporting opportunities. This enables the pupils to reach the standard to participate in county wide events with ongoing success.
In recent years the woodland area at the front of the school has been developed in to a forest school type environment which is regularly by all pupils in the school. The school has a dedicated library, ICT suite, music practice rooms, SEMH room and spacious school hall.
The Anthony Roper school has a very dedicated and passionate teaching team providing a first-class education for the pupils in their care. This includes offering a range of after school clubs in a number of different subjects, including art, football, netball, multi-sports and gardening.
