We have an exciting opportunity for a Music Teacher at The Whitstable School to join our thriving performing arts department that is theheart and soul of the school community. The department is ambitious and is keen to develop a love of performing across the school.

We will welcome applications from teachers who:

  • Are passionate about Music and able to inspire students
  • Are an accomplished musician with the ability to lead a diverse range of music ensembles
  • Have proven experience of teaching music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be advantageous)
  • Can demonstrate a positive and creative approach in the classroom
  • Have the skills and passion to inspire and engage pupils in both curricular and extra curricular lessons.

The school has a dedicated dance studio, music rooms as well as a purpose built theatre space, all pupils in KS3 receive one drama, dance and music lesson a week, in KS4 and KS5 each discipline is available as an option.
