About the role: Hayesbrook Academy is seeking to appoint suitably experienced and reliable Exam Invigilators for the exams that take place throughout the academic year. The ideal candidate will be well organised, excellent communicators, have experience of supervising children and be both reliable and flexible. Whilst experience is preferred, full training will be provided for the successful candidates.

Whilst the role is paid on claim, hours will be agreed with the successful candidates in advance and there will be an opportunity to work regularly during the usual examination periods.  

 

What we expect from you: The main purpose of this role is to supervise examinations and to ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following;

  • To ensure JCQ and awarding body regulations are followed during exams
  • Be vigilant for instances of malpractice and report concerns to Exams Officer
  • Provide materials for exams
  • Complete attendance registers
  • Manage disturbances within the exam room in line with centre policy
  • Distribute and collect exam papers
  • Facilitate access arrangements for candidates
  • To be aware of any needs that candidates may have during an examination.
  • To ensure that no inappropriate/not allowed items are brought into an examination room.

 

This role offers £9.55p/h + holiday allowance. The successful candidates will start from March 2022.
