New Ash Green Primary School are looking to appoint enthusiastic and inspirational temporary 1:1 Teaching Assistants on a Term Time only contract.  This is a 5 day a week role for 27½  hours per week and involves working 1:1 with a child. This is a temporary appointment and will remain for as long as the support is required, or until such time as the funding ceases. 

The successful applicants will have a good standard of education (equivalent to GCSE grade 'C' in at least English and maths).

New Ash Green Primary School is a very happy and exciting school. We offer exceptional working conditions and resources. The role varies and includes providing classroom support and supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with their learning, speech and language and social development. Pupils enjoy, learn and achieve success. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Teaching Assistant qualifications, previous experience and/or an understanding of child development would be an advantage.

Information about the school

The school serves the community of New Ash Green Village and surrounding area. The school has excellent resources and is set within attractive grounds. There are two halls, four playgrounds, a field, an orchard, fourteen rooms, a mobile, a medical room and library areas along with an IT suite of thirty-one computers. We are a highly professional team of colleagues who welcome new team members. The school encourages parental involvement and our PTA offers significant support. Visits to the school are welcomed.
