Following a hugely successful first year of opening, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our growing school community. If you can make a difference to children's education, can nurture children’s dreams and talents today in order to empower them to reach their potential tomorrow, then Springhead Park Primary could be the school for you!

It is our firm belief that the key to successfully supporting children with special educational needs, is building a strong relationship and a sense of trust with the child. And that from this strong relationship, children will learn to feel secure, to understand school expectations and be encouraged in their learning. In addition, this will also lead to improving the child’s social skills and independence, which are so important to a happy, healthy and successful life.

For this reason, experience is not essential to this role though it may be an advantage. We are looking for a person to build that relationship with the child to help them grow and reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be supported by the SENDco and class teacher to develop and implement effective strategies to support the child.

We can offer:

  • The opportunity to contribute the growing culture and reputation of our fantastic school.
  • A team of like-minded and very skilled professionals, committed to giving pupils a very high standard of education.
  • The chance to work with some wonderfully creative, polite and hardworking children and their families.
  • Support to develop your practise and career development.
  • The opportunity to network with colleagues across a range of schools across the trust.

Visits to the school are encouraged (outside of the normal school day). Please contact the school office to arrange this:
