Advert

Shorne C of E Primary School, part of the Aletheia Anglican Academies Trust, is a friendly, dynamic and innovative school. We pride ourselves on our dedication to ensuring pupil progress through high quality teaching and learning provision for all. The successful applicant will share these values and play an active part in delivering this commitment alongside the Christian ethos of the school.

In a small school there is always an expectation of flexibility and you may be required to work in any class at short notice. However, this role is linked to a child with higher needs funding, and will therefore involve working 1-2-1 with a child with additional needs.

We achieved a 'Good' Ofsted in July 2017 and continue to build on this foundation, striving to constantly improve. We have an amazing team at Shorne who work together to constantly improve, reflect and the children are always  central to all that we do.  We aim to develop learning opportunities for all staff working in collaboration with our partner schools, parents and wider community. The children take responsibility for their own learning and teachers increasingly facilitate exciting opportunities for learning.

Shorne C of E Primary School take the safeguarding of our children very seriously, any job offer is subject to references and DBS clearance.

Visits can be arranged by telephoning the school office on 01474  822312  to. I look forward to welcoming you to the school.

Please contact the school office for an application form- office@shorne.kent.sch.uk
