Brompton Academy, part of the University of Kent Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint a Health & First Aid Assistant This role will be based at Brompton Academy, though travel to our sister school, Chatham Grammar may be required on occasion.  This role is 30 hours per week, term time only and is being offered on a permanent basis.    

This role is within a suite of new wellbeing roles that have been offered within the Trust this year and we are very excited to be welcoming committed, pro-active and compassionate colleagues to UKAT.   Our vision for this role is to act as the lead first aider at the academy and attend to all first aid issues promptly and efficiently.  The post holder will also provide administrative and first level support and advice on health matters   

To be successful in this role you will have a professional manner, be well organisedable to work under pressure and to deadlines You will possess well developed administrative skills and will be able to demonstrate your experience through your application.  You may already hold a first aid qualification, but full first aid training will be provided.  You will be confident in communicating with a variety of stakeholders which will include parent/carers, external bodies, colleagues and students.  Your attention to detail will be at an advanced level as you will be responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records for students and will be dispensing medicines as required.
