The University of Kent Academies Trust (UKAT) is an established multi academy trust (MAT) that has two Secondary Schools in Medway, Chatham Grammar School (CG) and Brompton Academy (BA). Chatham Grammar is a selective 11 – 19 girls school with a mixed sixth form and Brompton Academy is a mixed comprehensive school, with a joint sixth form across the two schools. The Trust schools work collaboratively together to transform the life chances of all our young people and the wider community in Medway. The individual schools have their own Principals and they are responsible for establishing the ethos and vision of each school within the framework of the Trust’s philosophy and values.

Each school is different in its approach to learning and has its own core beliefs and values established. This enables UKAT to offer students a unique educational experience where students feel encouraged, supported and nurtured to be the best that they can be. We are ambitious and courageous, as we want young people to aspire to reach their goals and aspirations above and beyond any limitations they might perceive to exist.
