Our vibrant and welcoming Trust is seeking a suitably qualified accountant to join us as our Director of Finance. The successful post-holder will have previous finance management experience and will be responsible for the effective and efficient use of the Trust’s resources ensuring appropriate controls and audit systems are in place. The Director of Finance will advise on both short and long-term financial issues which will affect the Trust and assist in setting strategic priorities and securing additional funding where possible. We are open to applications from other industries, although experience of financial management in an educational environment would be an advantage.  Based at Brompton Academy in Gillingham, this role will also involve regular travel to its local sister school Chatham Grammar, in Chatham.

Outstanding financial leadership and planning qualities will be required in order to ensure the design and implementation of these plans.
