Sturry CE Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant to support children in class.

We are looking for someone who can bring motivation, energy and excellent communication skills to the role.  You would need to support the children with their educational, physical, emotional and social development, and play an active role alongside the teacher in shaping the learning of the class.

We are looking for high-calibre applicants, with a good standard of numeracy and literacy, a passion for learning and high expectations for all pupils.  If you are looking for a challenge and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team then we would love to hear from you.

This role is:

  • Term time only working
  • Monday to Friday - specific hours to be agreed with the headteacher
  • Pro rata'd KR3 salary - 30 hours @ 43 paid weeks is approximately £12520 (gross)
