Within the role as SENDCo you will play a key role in the child protection team within the school and you will need to be able to build relationships with families in order to fully care for them within our school.
About the role:
Platt C of E Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a SENDCo or experienced practitioner willing to train as a SENDCo to join our team as soon as possible. There is flexibility in starting date for the right candidate.
The role is ideally for 2 full days but is open to negotiation as we wholeheartedly believe in supporting flexible working. Our current SENDCo works 2 1/2 days and a full day.
The role is a leadership role and you would be expected to complete all tasks associated with the role of a SENDCo within school; including attending meetings, leading a support team and completing applications for additional support.
As part of the role you would line manage some support staff, lead the develop of Pupil Premium and Catch up strategy (alongside the SLT team) and be instrumental in driving the vision for SEND support in our community.
