Copperfield Academy is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our cleaning team. 

You will be required to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within classrooms, corridors, halls, offices and toilets. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, using a floor cleaning machine and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc. Applicants should have a good grasp of the requirements of cleaning in a school including the need for confidentiality and have an understanding of the health and safety procedures relevant to the role and be confident in the use of relevant cleaning equipment.

The position is for 10 hours per week (5.00am - 7.00am), 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), all year round, with 25 days annual leave entitlement to be taken in the school holidays.

Cleaning hours in the school holidays are often consolidated into fewer days, so flexiblity is essential.

Applicants should be able to work as part of a team, be reliable and trustworthy and have a flexible and willing approach.
