Due to stable growth our small and friendly team at our Maidstone Campus are looking to recruit an experienced and interactive MFL (French) Teacher to join the team on a part time (0.6FTE), permanent basis to teach our KS3-5 students. You will be adept at coaching our students to see and lead through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.

We are looking for conscientious and hard-working individuals who are passionate about education and pay meticulous attention to detail.

You will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or a similar Modern Foreign Language related qualification
  • Possess recent experience of teaching French to students in KS3-KS5
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for GCSE and A-Level French including specifications.
  • Have GCSE’s at grades C and above in English and Maths
  • Be a positive role model of professional practice and conduct of others
  • Have effective ICT skills to support pupil’s learning
  • Possess a good understanding of SEND procedures
  • Have a diverse set of skills which will enable you to be flexible working in the classroom for both theory and practical sessions, as well as in our modern learning centre
  • Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn
  • Respect and promote the schools Ethos and Values
