We are looking to recruit an Extended Schools Worker. Breakfast Club hours will be 7:45am to 9:00am and After School Club hours will be 3:00pm to 5:30pm Monday to Friday totalling 18.75 hours per week (Term Time only).  If you have primary aged children of your own they are more than welcome to attend the club for free. 

Main duties will include planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.  Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from class and delivering them safely to parents/carers.  Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met including safeguarding of the children.  Administering first aid when necessary. Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.  Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.  Monitoring and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.

Desirable Requirements

Experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds. Appropriate Level 3 qualification or be working towards this. Current First Aid Certificate.  Appropriate child protection training. Current Food Hygiene Certificate.  Ability to provide and facilitate safe and creative play.
