Lessness Heath is a three-form entry primary school in Belvedere in the London Borough of Bexley.  We serve 650 children and their families and put wellbeing at the heart of our school.  We are a highly successful school recognised nationally for wellbeing.

You will be supported by The Primary First Trust to achieve the highest of educational standards.  For you, the Trust brings with it a network of excellent primary Head Teachers working together to improve the life chances of children.  It also brings with it excellent opportunities for career progression and advancement.

The core purpose of the Deputy Head Teacher will be to support the Head Teacher to raise standards for all by providing outstanding leadership.  You will support the implementation of the vision and values and establish high quality education by improving the quality of Teaching and Learning.  You will have the highest aspirations for everyone and will continue the development of a motivated and determined staff team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead their team, to inspire children and motivate the community.  Their skills as an outstanding classroom practitioner will enable them to recognise high quality teaching and learning and empower each individual to fulfil their potential.
