We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a Key Stage 2 class. This is for maternity cover. You will be part of a forward thinking team who put children's learning and well-being at the heart of everything we do. In our January 2020 'good' Ofsted report, the school is described as a happy, welcoming school where children thrive within a harmonious and trusting environment. The HMI reported that "misbehaviour is rare because lessons are interesting and pupils want to learn." "All staff are proud to work at the school. They are highly positive about leaders' concern for their workload and well-being." Our 'outstanding' June 2017 SIAMS inspection report, celebrated the excellent behaviour and respectful relationships in and around the school.

The Successful Candidate will:

Have experience as a Teaching Assistant working with primary age children.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Be flexible, hardworking and highly reliable.
Have excellent maths and literacy skills.
Preferably have an NVQ 2 or equivalent.
