Subject Leader of Health & Social Care

We will have a vacancy to cover a period of maternity leave for a Subject Leader of Health & Social Care from September 2020. The role is part-time for 3 days per week, however provision could be made for a full time role for the right candidate.

We are looking to appoint a leader who has a genuine passion for the subject. The successful candidate will be committed to further raising standards and have an enthusiasm for teaching, learning and the progression of young people.  

To be considered you must:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have strong knowledge of the KS4 - KS5 curriculum
  • Work well with staff and pupils alike
  • Be motivated to get the best out of pupils
  • Have strong classroom management skills
