Status: Temporary (until July 2020) with a view to possibly becoming a permanent role

Hours/Percentage of Week: 15 hours per week (mornings)

Monday-Friday - Term time only

Weeks per year:  39 WEEKS

Grade:  PFT Payscale C1 – C2 £21,332-£21,759 pro rata

Post Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are a popular, oversubscribed primary school, celebrating our best ever outcomes for children, with a Resourced Provision for 15 children on the Autistic Spectrum.

The ideal candidate will share our vision and commitment to upholding our high standards and aspirations for our children.

An understanding of Autism and previous experience of using strategies to enable children to access the curriculum is essential. Experience of using TEACCH AND PECS would be an advantage.  Applicants with experience of supporting children with special educational needs in a school setting and who wish to develop their career will be considered.

Candidates are expected to have GCSE level English and Mathematics and may be required to assist pupils across EYFS, KS1 AND KS2.
