Eastchurch Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a strategic leader to work alongside the Headteacher in driving school improvement.

This Deputy Headteacher will have experience in primary school improvement and will be looking for the next stage in their career.

The successful candidate will be a lead professional, confidently providing a significant role model within the Eastchurch community. They will embrace their accountability for the education of current and future generations of children with energy, passion and unrelenting aspiration, building on and developing the existing best practice across both sites. The candidate will be part of a team of professionals who champion the needs of every child, enabling them to flourish and achieve in this Church of England primary school.

We strongly recommend a tour of the school to include both sites to recognise the unique and exciting opportunity that this post offers.  To arrange a visit or for an informal discussion with the Headteacher, please make initial enquiries with Tracy Ryan our School Business Manager.

With this level of responsibility and a salary to match, the Governors are offering this rare opportunity to join our continually improving school.  Are you an outstanding, inspirational leader and team player with the passion and energy for driving strategic school improvement?

Eastchurch Church of England Primary School has a high percentage of vulnerable groups and therefore experience of the strategic processes required around these groups would be beneficial although not essential, with an understanding of SENd, Pupil Premium and other pupil groups.

Please contact Tracy Ryan, School Business Manager, in the first instance, to arrange a tour.
