Priory Infant School in Ramsgate is looking for

Relief Administration Assistant

To join our happy, successful school.

Salary (KR 2 with hourly rate of £9.00)

Hours 8.30am – 1pm (Monday & Tuesday)

Additionally, required on a flexible working hours basis to cover increase working periods /absences

Pro-rata on a 38 weeks per year basis

Contract Period of 6 months

(Mon, 3rd February 2020 to Tues, 21st July 2020)

To become a key member of our friendly motivated office team

We have created a new Relief Administration Assistant position to work with the schools existing Administration Team to provide a professional reception and administration support for the schools newly appointed headteacher.

Do you:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
  • Want to help our children and families make the most of their time at our school?
  • Have previous administration experience?
  • Enjoy working as part of a team?
  • Like a challenge?
  • Have good IT and Literacy skills?
  • Organise your work well to meet deadlines?
  • Have a working knowledge of the principles used for recording data on computer systems?

Information about Priory Infant School “A small school with a big heart”

Priory Infant School is a two- form entry school in the heart of the seaside town of Ramsgate. The school was built just over 25 years ago and has 6 spacious classrooms and an extension which includes additional nurture/SEND rooms as well as a FLO office. The school is investing in redeveloping the outdoor play areas and has a dedicated wildlife area with a pond and vegetable plot. We have recently been awarded Nurture Schools status and fully believe in the ethos of a nurturing environment in order to support the needs of all our children. Priory Infant School works very well with parents and carers and this is central to our school ethos. We have a dedicated team of staff who provide a nurturing, supportive environment where our children are encouraged to be independent, resilient, creative and adventurous in their learning and aspirational in their lives. We are determined to ensure our children receive a broad, exciting curriculum where success is celebrated and nurtured with experiences offered above and beyond the National Curriculum. We aim to ensure our children are happy, enthusiastic and receive the very best start to their school life. The school serves a mixed catchment area resulting in a wide ranging, diverse cohort. Approximately 18% of our children receive SEND support in some form during their time with us and approximately 50% of our children are eligible for Pupil Premium funding.
