We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, reliable and trustworthy person to the post of Caretaker at our popular and friendly school.

Duties will include ensuring health and safety standards for the site, general maintenance of the building and grounds, involving liaising with contractors, first aid, general security and some cleaning. There may be some unsocialable hours.

The successful candidate is likely to have had previous experience of premises and general maintenance, should be physically fit, enjoy working as part of a team in a school setting and be confident in communicating face to face, by telephone and by e mail, the successful candidate must be reliable with excellent time keeping and they will definitely need to have a good sense of humour!

We have a highly regarded Site Manager. It is essential that any interested candidate visits to discuss hours and the division of the workload. The hours will be Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm and Friday 6am -1.30 pm and 10am - 6pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 10am -5.30 pm on alternate weeks with 30 minute lunch break - 37 hours per week (52 weeks per year).
