Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires an experienced HLTA to join our team within the Specialist Resource Provision at our primary school at Holborough Lakes

Salary:  37 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, £15,352 to £17,110  pro rata to £18,616 to £20,747 for a HLTA.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in our Specialist Resourced Provision within our recently built primary school. We have one Specialist Resourced Provision for children with SEMH needs at Holborough Lakes and another for children with autism (ASD) at Kings Hill. 

You will work closely with the teacher of the high needs provisions to support children on a 1:1 and small group, or whole class basis. The pupils that you will be supporting will all have an Education, Health and Care Plan for ASD needs.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, flexible and adaptable, and will have a calm and positive approach to working with children with high levels of complex needs. Previous experience of providing teaching assistance within a school, working with children with SEMH and/ or ASD and have the ability to work independently and use your own initiative is also vital.

Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes is a one-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11, with a Specialist Resource Provision which has a designation for children with ASD, in the heart of the local community.
