Featherby Junior School and Featherby Infant and Nursery School are both part of the Maritime Academy Trust.

The Featherby Partnership has a new leadership team and we are looking to recruit an HLTA.

The candidate would be required to work with both our EYFS/KS1 and KS2 children from Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm

We are looking for people who:

* Have a great sense of humour

Main Duties:

  • HLTA role – based across all Key Stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
  • Provide whole class support
  • Cover timetabled class lessons per week
  • Plan & deliver focused intervention and booster sessions

Person Specification:

  • Experienced & qualified HLTA – Higher Level Teaching Assistant
  • MUST have the Level 4 HLTA qualification
  • Must have previously covered whole lessons
  • Literacy & numeracy intervention experience needed
  • Kind, generous and energetic HLTA required
  • At least GCSE grade C in English, Maths & Science
  • Perfect opportunity for an aspiring Primary Teacher!
  • September 2019 start
