Early Birds Nursery at Finberry, part of Finberry Primary School, have a truly fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Nursery Teaching Assistant to join us and be part of our established Nursery provision.

32.5 hours a week, £6 per hour.

In partnership with Kent Training and Apprenticeships we offering candidates the chance to work towards a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, fully funded by The Stour Academy Trust.

The level 2 course aims to teach learners about:

• children and young people’s development
• supporting those with disabilities or special educational needs
• helping to develop communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults
• schools as organisations
• preparing and maintaining learning environments
• invigilating examinations
• supporting children and young people at meal times, during play, leisure and when they are travelling outside the school

The successful candidate will work in our Nursery as a Nursery Teaching Assistant whilst completing the level 2 course.

Candidates will require at least a C grade in Maths and English GCSE.
