We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff to work as a supervisor to manage the day to day running of our After School Club (Rascals).

The role will involve working 15 hours a week term time only:

3pm - 6pm Monday - Friday

The role will involve:

  • Taking day to day responsibility for the club.
  • Providing a safe, nurturing and creative environment for pupils.
  • Taking the lead in planning, resourcing and supervising weekly activities.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Ensuring that the strengths of the clubs are built on.
  • Ordering and preparing food.
  • Supervising and liaising with other staff.

The ideal candidate should have the following, but we would provide training for the right candidate:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in a child based setting.
  • A Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to take the training.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory, or management experience in a child based setting.
  • Experience and training in :-
    • Child Protection
    • Health & Safety/Risk Assessment
    • Food Hygiene level 2
    • Behaviour  Management
