Information about the school

At Milstead we are passionate about learning!

We want all of our children to receive an exciting and varied curriculum where they can explore and build on their own strengths and interests in a supportive and nurturing environment while feeling valued for their individuality. We aim to lay a foundation of curiosity, tapping into children’s natural inquisitiveness about the world around them, and to inspire a lifelong love of learning, whilst understanding diversity and culture and accepting differences. We encourage everyone to be determined and to take pride in all that they do. We work towards building a community in which everyone feels valued and valuable.

We are a small, village Church of England Primary school with mixed year groups. We aim to provide a Christian school community, where children feel secure, understand how to keep themselves safe and make the right choices with a clear moral purpose. Our rural setting gives us access to wonderful woodland which children visit weekly and features highly on our curriculum.
