We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff to work as a supervisor to manage the day to day running of our After School Club.

The role will involve working 18 hours a week Term time only:

2:45pm - 6pm Monday - Friday

Additional 1h and 45 minutes to be taken for preparation during the week.

The role will be paid as KR3

The role will involve:

  • Taking day to day responsibility for the club.
  • Taking the lead in planning, resourcing and supervising weekly activities.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Ensuring that the strengths of the clubs are built on.
  • Ordering and preparing food.
  • Supervising and liaising with other staff.

The ideal candidate should have the following, but we would provide training for the right candidate:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in a child based setting.
  • A Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to take the training.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory, or management experience in a child based setting.
  • Experience and training in :-
  • Child Protection
  • Health & Safety/Risk Assessment
  • Food Hygiene level 2
  • Behaviour  Management
  • Skills in basic book keeping

 

Additional hours would also be available on a temporary basis to work within school in the afternoon.

Lympne CEP School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children.
