Advert

Holy Family Primary is an academy and part of the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership, a multi-academy trust.  It is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional Academy Principal from September 2019.

Reporting to the Executive Principal, the Academy Principal will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the academy and will lead a team that are continually working together under the academy’s motto of “Love Jesus, love learning, love each other”.

The successful applicant will take the lead role in providing inspirational Catholic education based on the gospel values and will be seen by pupils and parents as the person directing their learning and as the academy’s pastoral leader. Holy Family Primary is a Catholic Academy and is seeking to appoint a practising Catholic to this post.

Holy Family is an inclusive academy. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that every child is supported and challenged to aspire to be the best they can be. We pride ourselves on the nurturing 'family' atmosphere and Christian ethos that is experienced by everyone who works in or visits our academy.

Holy Family Primary is a one form entry Catholic academy located in the south of Maidstone, serving the Parish of South Maidstone and the local area, and its recent denomination inspection (Section 48) judged that it offers a ‘Good’ Catholic education.   Its last Ofsted inspection concluded ‘Requires Improvement’ overall and we hope this will change for the better at re-inspection shortly.  Holy Family has spacious classrooms, a large outdoor area including playground, field, wildlife area, daily mile track and adventurous play area. Our children are hard-working and full of enthusiasm for learning. They are also friendly, polite and generous towards everyone they meet.

Holy Family is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and section 128 check.
