We are looking for a dedicated and creative EYFS/Key Stage One class teacher to join our friendly team from September 2019 to lead our Reception Class.

The successful candidate will be a consistently good or outstanding practitioner with high expectations for children's achievement, who can help us continue to move our school forward. They will support our children in their learning to develop the key skills of independence, creativity and perseverance.

We develop all aspects of our school through team working and the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make a full contribution to our key stage, curriculum and staff teams. We have developed strong links with our local community and work very closely with the other schools in our collaboration, the Samphire Learning Hub. We are looking for someone who can support us in developing these important links.

In return we will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their career. We support our teachers to build on their skills by learning from colleagues' good practice, and the continuing professional development of our staff is a priority. Our children are extremely enthusiastic in their learning, with very supportive parents.

We have taken an innovative approach to providing breadth and depth in the curriculum through our enrichment day on Friday.

The well-being of our staff is important. As well as a full induction, the successful applicant will be provided with non-contact time in addition to PPA to carry out essential tasks such as classroom management, preparation of reports etc.

This position will be a permanent contract.
