Required for September 2019, enthusiastic, dynamic and hard-working graduates to undertake a year’s training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status. We have places on this year’s School Direct training programme run in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University. The positions we offer are unsalaried.

We are looking for graduates with passion, motivation and a positive attitude who are keen to learn from our dedicated and highly skilled teaching staff.

Information about the school

Furley Park Primary Academy is a three form entry school on the outskirts of Ashford serving the Park Farm area. We currently we have 630 pupils on role. The school converted to an Academy in November 2013 establishing ACE Learning, a multi-academy trust, with Hamstreet Primary School. As such we are able to offer our staff and pupils innovative opportunities to develop excellent teaching and learning. The school had a successful Ofsted in September 2016 achieving a rating of good. Our pupils are fantastic, friendly and polite and enjoy challenging learning and inspirational teaching. The school currently holds the Arts Mark Gold Award, School Games Gold and ICT mark, all of which are significant strengths.
