We are looking for an experienced, well organised and resilient teaching assistant to support pupils with Behaviour Emotional & Social Needs in our SRP unit. The ideal person will have a proven track record of managing a full range of challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will be working in the SRP unit in addition to supporting pupils in the mainstream classes. 

We are fully committed to ensuring that pupils within this area of special need are integerated as fully as possible into our schools and that they feel as highly valued as all other pupils.

This can be an extremely challenging position, but equally very rewarding. The successful applicant will be joining a well established, forward thinking and supportive team of professionals.

32.5 hours per week.

Thistle Hill is a new Academy, which opened in September 2015. Built to serve the needs of a growing community, the school currently has over 300 pupils on roll and is expected to take on two reception classes every September until it reaches its full capacity.

The Academy is part of The Stour Academy Trust and works in a collaborative model. Thistle Hill is part of the Swale Hub of the Trust, joining two further Swale schools,Richmond Academy and Lansdowne Primary School.
