We have a vacancy for a After-School Club Supervisor for 17.5 hours per week from January 2018. The hours of work for After-School Club will be from 2.30pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday term time only (38 weeks per annum). We would welcome conversations regarding flexiblity should this be desired and achievable. (ie, the number of days worked)

Additional hours for the Holiday Play Scheme at Loose Primary School will be available should this be something that the successful candidate would like to explore. 

Are you able to:

  • Provide a safe and caring environment for the children
  • Plan and organise an exciting programme of events which provide a stimulating, happy and relaxing, fun atmosphere.
  • Be responsible for the development and daily management of Loose After-School Club and Holiday Club.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Provide a healthy snack and assist where necessary
  • Interact with the children through activities
  • Organise and maintain medical/dietary needs
  • Organise and maintain staffing rotas ensuring After-School Club and Holiday Play Scheme are staffed in accordance with school policy ie adult to child ratios.
  • Ensure that colleagues receive relevant training and updates.

A First Aid certificate would be desirable but not essential.  Alternatively the successful candidate might express a willingness to train as a First Aider.
