Lynsted & Norton Primary School is situated in a rural village community, surrounded by fields and woodlands, which are used to facilitate an exciting and broad curriculum for our pupils. This coupled with a strong and supportive wider school community provides a warm and welcoming environment for staff. We are part of the Village Academy Trust enabling staff leadership development and exciting career opportunties across all of our schools. We are looking for a Teacher to join our team who:

  • Has the ability to model and promote high quality teaching and learning
  • Has experience of a split year group class, preferable
  • Experience of KS2 testing, preferable
  • Has a passion for taking a lead in a subject to drive forward progress
  • Has experience of in class SEN planning and delivery, with a genuine desire and passion to improve the outcomes of vulnerable pupils
  • Has the ability to create a rich, stimulating and exciting learning environment
  • Views challenges as possibilities and opportunities
  • Embraces changes and seeks improvement
  • Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour and strong behavioural management
  • Will take an active part in the life of the school
  • Understands the joys and challenges of being a part of a small school culture
  • Is able to form good relationships with colleagues, pupils, parents and Governors

At Lynsted and Norton primary School we are passionate about learning.

We are a village Primary school with a small reception cohort and 3 further mixed age classes. We aim to provide a school community where children feel secure, understand how to keep themselves safe and make the right choices with a clear moral purpose.
