Beaver Green Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, conscientious and selfmotivated Caretaker / Handyperson willing to take an active role in maintaining high standards of care, cleanliness, maintenance and support for the regular functions of the school. The role also includes two evening lock ups, and on-call alarm call outs.

Hours: 7.00am-11.00am then 2.00pm-5pm and two 9.30pm lock ups (37 hrs per/week) 

The successful candidate should possess good interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, team-orientated and be willing to contribute to wider school activities Candidates will be required to have a good knowledge of DIY and be prepared to undertake training.

Experience of undertaking a high standard of decoration, general repairs, and maintenance of furnishings, fittings, buildings and knowledge of plumbing would be a significant advantage, though some training will be available.

Beaver Green is a two form entry school in Ashford with a maintained nursery.

The school is sited in a new build with a number of outreach rooms alongside extensive playing fields and play areas.
